Tumpek Kandang, on 30th April 2016

Tumpek Kandang ( ceremony for animal ) is one of the holiest days of the year for Balinese Hindus. Dedicated to Rudra, the Hindu god of farming and animals, local Hindu people give up offerings and pray to him to honour animals, pets, and livestock.
Tumpek Kandang occurs every 210 days according to the Pawukon calendar, and is part of the series of Tumpek days dedicated to blessing different subjects such as plants, metal objects, wayang shadow puppets and traditional gamelan music instruments, etc.
